Slate Placemats, Slate Coasters, Slate TableMats
As well as providing a stunning contrast against any wooden surface, these Brazilian slate placemats, slate coasters and slate tablemats provide maximum protection from heat and scratching by crockery. All of our slate tablemats, coasters and placemats are produced to order, at our workshop in North Devon by our skilled craftsmen. The slate is cut to size from our stock and the edges and corners are then rounded whilst the surface is polished. Rubber feet are fixed to the underside of the slate coasters, placemats or tablemats to protect the table and the product is then treated with a proprietary sealant for protection and to enhance the natural beauty of the slate.
Standard sizes for slate placemats, coasters and tablemats are listed below whilst other sizes can be cut to specific customer requirements. The slate is available in a variety of colours and different surface finishes are also available.
