Slate Work Surfaces
| Our slate worktops are fabricated from the finest Brazilian slate and will complement any contemporary or classic kitchen design, transforming it into a practical and sophisticated environment. Brazilian slate provides the perfect alternative to traditional materials used for work surfaces of all types, providing an attractive, hardwearing, tactile, easily maintained and affordable option for a range of slate worktops. Surfaces for inset, or freestanding, hand basins can be cut to templates (or drawing sizes) in either black or blue/grey slate. Please visit our gallery to view examples of the many worktops, from simple barbecue tops to complex commercial bar installations, that we have fabricated. Different material thicknesses are available to suit your application. We provide a full cutting and finishing service to match your designs and specifications. The surface of the slate can be aged, edges can be machined to any of the profiles shown on our bespoke page and draining grooves can be cut to provide water ‘run off’.
