Tables in Natural Slate

A natural slate table from Ardosia would grace any dining area in the home or garden. Very low maintenance, with an easy wipe clean surface, the slate tables make an instant visual impact and with their softened edges and finely textured surface provide a pleasing tactile experience.

Maintenance requirements are minimal and consist of keeping the slate clean and an occasional application of slate seal if required. We only stock these tables in graphite (black) slate and they all come with a fine riven surface and pencil edged finish. However other finishes such as polished surface or aged surface and various edge profiles can be supplied at extra cost.

The natural slate tables can be supplied with either metal or slate supports, or they can be fabricated to suit an existing base. In addition we can fabricate the slate tabletop to provide for parasol pole, electrical cable etc. (just let us know the size and position of hole required). We also manufacture natural slate coffee tables, side tables, console tables etc., to your specification.

Current stock sizes of our slate tables, together with cost. are provided on our 'PRICES' page, whilst other sizes to a maximum of 2.2x1.2mtrs or 1.5mtrs diameter can be fabricated to special order.

Ardosia have made a wide range of tables for private clients and for retailers. These include indoor tables made from a range of materials including slate coffee tables and dining tables with matching chairs. The top of the tables is typically made from slate or a combination of slate and glass with a range of woods and other materials used to construct that frame that holds the table top. The tables are suitable for a range of rooms and locations including kitchen tables and formal slate dining tables that are very contemporary. Bedside tables made in slate are ideal for modern bedrooms with smooth finished edging available. Corner tables and side tables are also available, we are always available to discuss specific requirements on any style and design if you are looking for a bespoke table with or without matching chairs.

Due to the nature of the material, slate is ideal for an exterior table and needs very little maintenance. Our slate tables are ideal as companions to our bespoke made outdoor barbecue worktops and bases as they can be left outdoors all year around. Slate makes an excellent choice for patio tables for the same reason, the perfect material for exterior tables

Custom Made Tables

An absolutely unique occasional table with natural slate supports designed, hand cut and polished by our own technicians then topped with a circular toughened glass surface. With a diameter of 620mm and height of 400mm this occasional table will provide an excellent focal point for any reception room at the give away price of £225.00 (plus Delivery and VAT).

Another unique occasional/side table, designed and finished by our own technicians. Using a beech frame and frosted glass surface this table has been trimmed with 'graphite' natural slate, including the drawer fronts and side panels. A very useful, as well as ornamental piece of furniture it measures 1150mm x 560mm x 420mm high and is for sale at £195 (plus Delivery and VAT).
